Kelly Garner began her career as a CCM artist for Brentwood/Benson, releasing her first CD in 1995. Over the last 11 years, she has led worship at events for Beth Moore, Dorie Van Stone, Jan Silvious, Kathy Triccolli, Liz Curtis Higgs, Leighann McCoy, Lee Ezell, Emily Barnes, Joann Wallace, Keri Pomerolli & Lisa Welchel. She served as a staffwriter with Centergy Music Group from 1998 to 2003, writing countless songs for the church print and southern gospel markets and receiving a Dove nomination in 2001 for the song “I Stand Redeemed.” Later the same year, Kelly accepted the position of Commercial Voice Instructor in the School of Music at Belmont University. She appeared as an artist on the “Left Behind II” motion picture compilation CD in 2002. In May of 2006, Kelly resigned her position at Belmont to resume her artistic work as a worship leader, producer & songwriter. Kelly also works as a freelance artist developer working with independent as well as signed recording artists within the Nashville community and from all over the United States. She is proud to be a member of Thompson Station Church in Thompson Station, TN where she leads worship for various events and serves on the worship administrative team.

Kelly has a Bachelor of Science in Secondary Math Education from Auburn University, a Bachelor of Music in Commercial Voice from Belmont University and a Master of Arts in Jazz Studies from Middle Tennessee State University. She owns Big Dog Recording Studios in Franklin, TN and lives with a spoiled rotten, 200 pound St. Bernard dog affectionately known as “Cliffie.”
